Each month we feature a niche magazine or media company that is especially creative in reaching its niche audience (and is just all-around awesome). This month’s pick: How to be a Redhead! This amazing resource for redheads has it all, from REDTV “reditorial” videos and Red Diaries for redheads to share what it means to be rocking the red to skin and hair products and fashion tips just for redheads. Now they are even branching out with live events!
Adrienne and Stephanie Vendetti are sisters, best friends, natural-born redheads and Founders of How to be a Redhead. Together they are painting the world red! Founded in January 2011, How to be a Redhead is empowering every redhead woman to feel confident, to look amazing and to rock their beauty. Red hair is more than a color, it’s a lifestyle!
Almost thirty-two months later, How to be a Redhead has over 85,000 Instagram Followers and over 13,000 “Likes” and “Followers” between Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest & Google+. That’s over 98,000 loyal followers! Adrienne and Stephanie have been featured in hundreds of publications throughout the world and were L’Oreal Paris Brand Ambassadors in 2012.
How to be a Redhead is launched a brand new, cutting-edge website that premieres celebrity interviews, exclusive beauty and fashion tips, niche-focused merchandise and a full shop with ‘redhead friendly’ merchandise.
Fans of How to be a Redhead will now be able to easily shop for their favorite redheads needs, like redhead bobby pins, redhead hair ties, apparel, makeup and…more!
How to be a Redhead aims to empower and connect their fan base and is not stopping with a newly launched website. How to be a Redhead launched Rock It Like A Redhead, the world’s first-ever red carpet beauty and fashion event for redheads, on March 16th in New York City. Over 200 redheads attended the first event and tried redhead-specific products and beauty treatments.
Rock It Like A Redhead is now set to go on a nationwide tour in 2014! It will paint five major cities red: starting in Detroit, then Atlanta, Austin, Los Angeles and ending in New York City, where How to be a Redhead is headquartered. Every night will hold a theme of empowerment and each sponsor and swag bag contributor will be handpicked by the sisters to meet the needs of every redhead. You can find more information about this red-tastic tour in a feature from the Huffington Post.
